Four from SP take MATC team to national hoops tourney

The skills of four Sun Prairie basketball players have propelled the Madison Area Technical College women's basketball team to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Tournament.

The MATC Wolfpack lost it's first game Thursday to Brookdale Community College of New Jersey and will play Holyoke Community College on Friday, March 14, at 1 p.m. in Utica, N.Y.

Sun Prairie is represented by Alyssa Schiele, Dana Wagner, Kaycey Kuecker and Tacara Lovings.
