Creekside Coyotes to sport blue and grey

The children who will be attending Creekside Elementary School this fall have selected their mascot and colors.

In an election conducted at the YMCA, the children voted on their choices after impassioned speeches by the 4th graders who were part of the nominating process.

Creekside Coyotes won with Cougars and Chipmunks coming in second and third, respectively.

Evelyn Smojver, the Creekside principal, is working with a graphics artist to create the coyote logo for the school.

The school colors will be blue and grey.

The CAFE parents group will be putting together a plan for Creekside Coyote apparel.
