Sun Prairie meat processor voluntarily recalls nuggets

A Sun Prairie meat processor is voluntarily recalling its chicken nuggets on speculation that they contain allergens not listed on the label, an Eau Claire TV station is reporting.

"The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection says nuggets made by K &S Meats contain milk and soy proteins, which can cause a severe allergic reaction in some people," according to a story on weau.com. "The labeling problem was found during a routine inspection."

The nuggets were sold in Milwaukee, Richland Center, Watertown, Montfort, Saukville and Onalaska, according to the news report.

Consumers can return the products to the store where they bought them for a refund.
