Sun Prairie athlete named to elite triathlon team

Sun Prairie High School senior Anthony Phillips has been selected for a Triathlon Junior Elite Development Team based in Eden Prairie, Minn.

He will be competing throughout the spring and summer at various locations in the U.S.

In 2007, Phillips was ranked 7th in the nation for 16-19-year-old triathletes, receiving Honorable Mention All American.

In the 8-state Midwest region, he is the number one triathlete in this age group.
